Will Ferrell & Zach Galifianakis Promote "The Campaign" in Philadelphia
On a nationwide tour to promote their new movie "The Campaign," Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis stopped in Philadelphia today (July 31) to affix their John Hancocks to a commemorative copy of the Constitution to celebrate its 225th anniversary.
While the "Old School" actor dressed up in a tri-cornered hat, ruffled neckpiece, and red fingerless gloves, the "Hangover" star played it conservatively in a blue buttondown dress shirt and khaki pants.
"The Campaign" parodies the American election circus, but the two stars worry if truth may be stranger than fiction. "We were thinking that when we first read the script, it seemed so outlandish," said Ferrell. "Then when we started filming, we were like, 'We hope this movie goes far enough."
In an age where communication is lightning fast and just about everyone has a camera on their personal cell phone, how can future politicians overcome the skeletons in their closets that are likely to be revealed?
Ferrell jokes, "That's the problem. We were just discussing this. If you're two or three years old, you really have to watch yourself with cameras if you plan on being president."
Galifianakis added, " God, I think all of my skeletons are on YouTube."

Dakota Fanning's Fresh-Faced Day on "Good Girls" Set
Looking a little frumpy in costume for her new movie "Very Good Girls," Dakota Fanning worked on location in New York City today (July 31).
Walking beside co-star Peter Sarsgaard, the "Runaways" actress wore a navy button-down shirt with black pants, and a loose hair braid.
Non-twin Olsen sister Elizabeth joins the 18-year-old as their characters pact to lose their virginity during the summer out of high school. The two friends end up falling for the same street artist.
In related news, the blonde beauty can soon be seen in the drama "Now Is Good" with Jeremy Irvine. Miss Fanning plays Tessa Scott, a girl dying of leukemia who makes a bucket list which includes the goal of losing her virginity.
Though she's American, the "War of the Worlds" actress reportedly delivers a surprisingly good English accent among her cast of all Brits, according to UK magazine Grazia. The movie comes out in September. Watch the trailer below!

Ryan Gosling Shows Off His Muscles Over a Vegan Lunch
Ryan Gosling picked up lunch at LA's Flore Vegan Cuisine yesterday. He carried his food and a shake to his car before heading off to his next location. Ryan hanging out on the West Coast after the release date of his Gangster Squad was recently pushed back to January 2013, and this month, some of the cast was called back to LA for reshoots. The Gangster Squad delay gives Ryan free time around the former Sept. 7 opening. He'll soon switch gears to chat about his other forthcoming release, The Place Beyond the Pines. The film's set to debut at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. Ryan is expected to be on hand with costars Bradley Cooper and Eva Mendes, and he just might get asked about what it was like working with his real-life leading lady, Eva.

Prince William and Kate Middleton Cheer on Zara to a Medal
Prince William and his wife, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, were out today for their latest morning of equestrianism at the London Olympics. They were joined by Prince Harry as well to watch cousin Zara Phillips compete atop her horse. Zara and Team GB ended up winning a medal in the competition - they netted a silver medal for eventing team jumping. Germany won gold, while New Zealand took home bronze.
For this morning's event, Kate wore a striped tank with her favorite Smythe blazer. Last night, though, Kate Middleton wore a Roksanda Ilincic dress to the UK's Creative Industries Reception at the Royal Academy of Arts. The reception was timed to celebrate Britons working in the creative industries during the Games. Kate went solo, though, while Princes Harry and William enjoyed an evening out of the limelight.

Besides, as it turned out, he was telling the truth?)
Anyhoo, I've got a lot to tell you about gardening! (Did you know if you get dirt wet it turns into mud? Yuck.)
And bumpers! (They don't bump off anything... they go, "Scraaaaaaaatch!")
And there's probably more but, again, I have to go because I have to get to the gym!

HGTV, LA and Dining Room Tables
I've been watching a lot of HGTV since coming to LA. My favorite shows are House Hunters and House Hunters International. There's also another show I like to watch called For Rent, but only because it makes me angry.
When it comes to apartments/homes, I think living in New York for the past eleven years has made me bitter because there was this whiny broad on For Rent a few nights ago who was looking at a huge place—A HUGE PLACE—and was like, "There's no place for a dining room table..."
B*TCH, YOU'RE LUCKY TO GET A KITCHEN IN NEW YORK.
I hated her.
Now there's some stupid lady on House Hunters who wants a townhouse with a fireplace that she can turn on with a light switch. IT HAS TO BE A LIGHT SWITCH because she doesn't want to bend down and flip a switch on the floor.
WHO DO THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE?
Anyway, I know my LA update is WAY overdue (and truth be told I wrote a long one last week but for some reason it didn't save so I lost the whole thing and I was so angry that I just said, "Ah, f*ck it," and closed the computer instead of rewriting) but to give you a quick update, I AM SO HAPPY HERE. I MEAN, I'M REALLY, REALLY HAPPY. And I think living here and watching HGTV—both of these things combined—has made me realize that New York was just beating me down. I mean, the fireplace lady—yes, she's an idiot. But there's nothing wrong with wanting a dining room table. Why did I get so mad at that lady?
Since being here, at least once a day I ask myself why I have lived in New York for so long. (It's like I had Stockholm Syndrome or something.) CALIFORNIA IS AWESOME. It's like the promised land. It's sunny all the time and there are birds and flowers everywhere. I have space out here. I have a sofa on the patio out here. I HAVE A SOFA OUTSIDE. I haven't seen one rat since I've been here. But hummingbirds? THEY ZIP BY MY HEAD EVERY DAY. I am so happy.
I'm supposed to go back to New York in November, but truth be told, I'm not sure I will.

Kate Hudson posed with Lea Michele on the set of Glee today. The show's creator, Ryan Murphy, tweeted a photo of the two, saying "Ms. Lea Michele and Kate Hudson on the NYADA set. Kate had chandelier approval."
Kate is guest starring in six episodes during Glee's fourth season. She'll be playing Cassandra July, Rachel's dance teacher at her new performing arts school. Lea Michele gave us a glimpse of her new costar's arrival late last week. She shared a photo of her and Kate's chairs next to each other on the set, tweeting that it was "the coolest thing." Another A-list star to join the cast this season is Sarah Jessica Parker. She'll be playing a Vogue editor, though there's no word yet on whether she'll sing or dance.

Promoting their film in character, Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis were spotted at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, Canada on Monday afternoon (July 30).
The two comedians got a special greeting from Mayor Rob Ford as they promoted their newest film “The Campaign,” where they portray political rivals in a race for Congress in a North Carolina district.
In related news, Ferrell and Galifianakis were recently featured in a new clip from the Jay Roach directed flick, which was released this afternoon.
The clip shows Cam Brady (Will) and his wife in the midst of dealing with the issue of finance reform.
You can catch “The Campaign” in theaters on August 10.

Jeremy Renner & Rachel Weisz Premiere "The Bourne Legacy" in NYC
With the release of their film quickly approaching, the stars of “The Bourne Legacy” hit the red carpet at their New York City premiere on Monday night (July 30).
The Ziegfeld Theater was lit up with beauty as Rachel Weisz and Rene Russo showed off their impeccable style, both donning classy ensembles.
The lovely ladies were joined by their handsome co-stars Jeremy Renner and Edward Norton, who have both been busy promoting their action-packed thriller, which is set to hit theaters on August 10.
In the new installment to the “Bourne” series, Tony Gilroy directed and created a unique situation by secluding the first three films' main man Matt Damon from the flick.
It was never a problem for Gilroy, who explained that moving on with the series was easier than expected, explaining, “Years go by and I think a lot of people try to figure out on how to continue with Jason Bourne and they finally just had enough and they all walked away. And it was sometime after that that I got a call to just have a meeting -- just as a problem-solver."
Tony added, "Was there any way to go forward? That's where the conversation started. So it was never anything that I anticipated -- I was never part of the effort to continue the series with Matt. When it came to me, he and Paul were officially long gone.”

Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson Match Their Summery Whites
Diane Kruger took her orange juice to go after brunch with boyfriend Joshua Jackson in the Los Feliz neighborhood in LA on Sunday. Josh should be back in Vancouver on the set of Fringe by now, though his and Diane's current time together in California is happening for a bittersweet reason. Production on the final season of Fringe has been delayed because Josh's costar John Noble is being treated for a sleep disorder. Josh and Diane seem to spend as much time as possible together, which included a recent trip to Kiev to watch the finals of the Eurocup tournament. They were on the same side for that sporting event, though they may be at odds when it comes to the current London Olympics. Diane is from Germany, and Joshua Jackson is Canadian, though they both call the US home much of the time.
Rachel Bilson & the "90210" Gals Party It Up at The CW's Summer TCA Soiree
Gathering together to celebrate the upcoming season of television, the stars of the CW, CBS and Showtime rocked the red carpet at the 2012 Summer TCA party on Sunday night (July 29).
Among those joining in on The Beverly Hilton Hotel held post-press conference soiree were "Hart of Dixie" hotties Rachel Bilson and Jaime King, with the latter decked out in a stylish Stella McCartney and Kate Spade created ensemble.
Tweeting about attending the TCA festivities, Miss King excitedly wrote, "Summer TCA party with my girl Rachel Bilson. #iLoveHartOfDixie !!!!! Xoxoxo."

Stepping out for a relaxing afternoon, Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger headed out for a mid-morning brunch and shopping session in Los Feliz, CA on Sunday (July 29).
The Hollywood pair donned ensembles as the 36-year-old beauty sported a white dress and tan shoes while her 34-year-old beau sported a white shirt and khaki pants as the two were seen leaving Gelson’s market.
In personal news, the "Fringe" actor opened up to Us Weekly about the couple’s first date while attending the Television Critics Association event and said, “I took her to an Italian restaurant, and there was some flower that was blooming. She was allergic to it so she sniffled and sneezed the entire time."
The allergy prone flower was only the start of the night as Joshua admitted that once they actually sat down for dinner his nerves got the best of him, explaining,”When I get nervous, you might have noticed I talk a lot. So I just chewed her ear off for an hour and a half," he added. "It was amazing. I'm surprised she ever called back."
As previously reported by GossipCenter, the two have been dating since 2006 and it looks like they might be planning to grow their family as Jackson confirmed, saying, “I'm at that age."

I'm here! I'm here! And I saw my first gang-banger get arrested yesterday so I feel like a total Angeleno.
I'm getting ready to go to the gym (again, like a total Angeleno!) so I will update later about my run-ins with Alexander Skarsgard, Pauly Shore, and Jeremy or Jason London (I'm not sure which one it was and seeing if I could force him to do drugs to find out seemed unfair. Besides, as it turned out, he was telling the truth?)
Anyhoo, I've got a lot to tell you about gardening! (Did you know if you get dirt wet it turns into mud? Yuck.)
And bumpers! (They don't bump off anything... they go, "Scraaaaaaaatch!")
And there's probably more but, again, I have to go because I have to get to the gym!
