It was a bit of a shock when she was arrested back in April for driving under the influence, and now Amanda Bynes has entered a “not guilty” plea.
The “She’s the Man” actress sent her lawyer to court today to do her bidding, though since she was charged with one count of misdemeanor DUI and refused a breathalyzer and blood test, she’ll have to prove her case.
On the off chance that Bynes is found guilty, she could be locked up in the pokey anywhere from 48 hours to six months.
Amanda will know more when she appears for a pre-trial hearing on July 18th. In the meantime she’s hoping for a Presidential favor- Bynes tweeted, "Hey @BarackObama... I don't drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me."
